If you love Hallowe’en, Collingwood is brewing up something special on Saturday, October 27. That’s when downtown streets fill with witches and warlocks and all manner of scary creatures as the annual Black Harvest Festival spell takes hold. It all begins at 11 a.m. Expect ghostly décor, spooky crafts and scary balloons! Watch for orange witch signs on store doors and windows. That’s your sign that Hallowe’en goodies are waiting for small trick or treaters inside. When the town hall clock strikes 1 p.m., little witches and warlocks and friends will gather at the town hall for a costume contest, presided over by Collingwood’s Head Witch and Warlock. Boo!
