Chilly days, warm meals

As the days grow shorter and cooler, our thoughts turn to warm meals and good company. It’s November, everyone, a time to go restaurant hopping in and around Wasaga Beach. First stop should be Wasaga’s top fine dining spot, Catch 22 at 962 Mosley St. This intimate restaurant serves swoon-worthy dishes including filet mignon, paella and a range of delectable seafood. Reservations are a must. A short drive to Blue Mountain’s Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill is well worth it for the Fallicious menu featuring such cold weather favorites as Tuscan onion soup, chicken pot pie and BBQ meatloaf. And don’t skip the Gnocco Fritto with ice cream and mulled cranberries. Fallicious is on until November 30.
