Siege of Wasaga back this weekend

It’s back by popular demand! Nancy Island is the setting again this summer for exciting Wasaga under Siege 1812. This popular historic re-enactment draws crowds. Enjoy all things 1812, including musket and cannon demonstrations, tales of a War of 1812 surgeon, early nineteenth century fashion, cooking and indigenous peoples’ stories and drumming. There’s even an 1812 scavenger hunt. Kids can take part in a mini militia. Live music and refreshments will be on hand. Saturday August 18 from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, August 19 from 10 am to 4 pm.
