Wasaga Beach Blues September 15 &16

If you happen to hear the sultry tones of an alto saxophone playing this weekend, you’ll know you’re in the right place for some spectacular blues music. The world’s longest freshwater beach is hosting scores of internationally acclaimed musical talents at the Wasaga Beach Blues festival Saturday and Sunday. To name a few, there’s last year’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis winner vocalist Dawn Tyler Watson, Canadian gold recording artists Crowbar and the uber-talented Joint Chiefs of Soul whose members have played with Al Green among others. It all happens at the Stonebridge Town Centre, 291 Stonebridge Blvd.
