Music, music, where’s the music?

This weekend, you don’t have to look far! Put on your most worn-in jeans for a rock-and-roll evening on Saturday, March 30, 8 p.m. at Thornbury’s Beaver Valley Community Centre. Bored of Education plays all the classics for your dancing entertainment. Or on the very same night, same time, you could find yourself thrilling to the Simply Queen Live Tribute and vocals of Freddie-Mercury-impersonator-extraordinaire Rick Rock at Collingwood’s Gayety Theatre. Maybe something more soothing is what you’re after. In that case, don’t miss the celebration of Nat King Cole’s 100th birthday featuring such signature tunes as Stardust and Mona Lisa, at the Marsh Street Centre in Clarksburg, Friday, Marc 29 at 7:30 p.m. All venues are just a short drive from Georgian Sands.
